SMART CONNECTIONS is federally funded by the Department of Education, Scence and Training (DEST), and is aimed at young poeple 14 to 19, who have disengaged from mainstream education for a variety of reasons, including bullying.

SMART Coordinator Fiona Ware said the 'Smarties' decided to make the film to help give the other young people hope and to help build resilience.

"It's their dream to take the film into schools and conduct mini workshops with school children to showcasse the film and create open communications" Ms Ware said.
